Süleyman Sadi SEFEROĞLU, who is currently working at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology of Faculty of Education at Hacettepe University, started his academic life as a classroom teacher. He completed his undergraduate education in “Radio-TV” and “Educational Sciences” in Ankara. He received his graduate degrees from Columbia University in the USA.

As a researcher at the “National Center for Restructuring Education, Schools, and Teaching (NCREST)” at Columbia University, he conducted postdoctoral studies on the use of information technologies in education.

Dr. Seferoğlu, who has a book on “Instructional Technologies and Material Design” design, has co-authored many book chapters related to different dimensions of the use of technology in education.

His professional interests include material design-development in education, new technologies and learning, teacher competencies, technology policies, online learning, mobile learning, information security, pre-service and in-service teacher training, Internet risks and threats, digital addiction, social media, children and media.
